The problems, which are caused by the conventional (not shielded) power cords, are dual. At the one hand they are emitting a hum of 50 Hz together with a very broad distortion spectrum what influence the other audio cables in a negative way. At the other hand it is not allowed that the clean power coming from the KE-POWER SOURCE will be infected again by mains born interference.

From this it follows that a conventional power cord works as a receiving/sending aerial for interference, as well that power cords ought to absorb rather than to reflect them.

We have developed the KE-POWER CORD STATEMENT with a clear aim: to improve the performance of the KE-POWER CORD PLUS considerably. We have examined all technical parameters of the POWER CORD PLUS again and developed them even more thoroughly. For the conductors we have applied the purest HPOFC (High Purity Free Copper) that available. We have also been able to improve the properties of our unique dielectric so that the insulation of each conductor has become thinner and even more flexible.

Each chain is as strong as its weakest link! The applied mains plugs are of the highest available quality, with 24 carat gold plating. The grip force of this plug is extremely strong.

The POWER CORD STATEMENT can easily transport very large currents to your amplifier, as a result of which the performance is better than you first thought possible. Therefore the POWER CORD STATEMENT is perfect for heavy amplifiers, but also smaller amplifiers, pre amplifiers and CD-players will perform much better with the POWER CORD STATEMENT.

The POWER CORD STATEMENT should be connected to a grounded outlet at all times so that the interference can be drained toward the earth.

The standard length of the POWER CORD STATEMENT is 1.5 m and it comes with a Euro connector (IEC 320/C13). Other lengths and connectors are available on request.

If you have found the correct orientation of the mains plug, you can mark the circle on the front of the plug, with for instance a dot of nail polish.

If you connect the POWER CORD STATEMENT – in combination with the POWER SOURCE – to your equipment, you will notice that it is indispensable and that the influence of this cable is at least as that of a very good interlink or speaker cable! This results in an excellent sound assessment, a tighter and sturdier low, a more open midrange area, high tones that are less sharp and better defined, and more width an depth in the sound stage.
