Seemed expensive but...... The old saying of lifting vails off the sound is really what I found with this. I don't beleive that one item on its own gives an increase in sound that is really significant, rather like tuning a car, it is a combination that really works together. It is in my pre amp of all valve equipment and am now convinced that any upgrades starts at the front end. The system has futher disappeared and the sound is so involving, superb!!!
