Elekit TU-8600SVK 300B Single Ended Tube Amp kit - Oh so sweet

Some nice feedback from a valued customer regarding the Elekit TU-8600SVK 300B Single Ended Tube Amplifier kit. He also purchased the Elekit Volume Control Upgrade PCB. Happy days.

Just a quick line to say that my EleKit is now up and running. What an excellent kit, great instructions, everything just fitted, got to love Japanese audio engineering. I reckon build time was about 8 hours. Didn’t really enjoy getting the larger resistors in but got there in the end.

Turn on was stressful but all the valves lit up and the unit is silent, even at the speakers there is no noise, no hiss, no hum.

Straightaway it is musical and weaving the SET magic. A tad bright, but everything is new, including the valves, so I am sure it will settle down as it runs in.

Good to be back to 300B SET after a few years with EL34 PP.
