LL1638: Lundahl Choke
The LL1638 is available in 6 versions.
- 1H, 800mA, wired in parallel
- 2H, 400mA, wired in parallel
- 2.5H, 300mA, wired in parallel
- 4H, 400mA, wired in series
- 8H, 200mA, wired in series
- 10H, 150mA, wired in series
Please refer to the datasheet on how to wire the chokes, be it in series or parallel. Please note that Lundahl only labels the chokes with the series value. To clarify a choke labelled (in bold):
LL1638 4H (400mA) has a value of 1H (800mA) when wired in parallel
LL1638 8H (200mA) has a value of 2H (400mA) when wired in parallel
LL1638 10H (150mA) has a value of 2.5H (300mA) when wired in parallel
(N.B. Adjusting the airgap adjusts the DC current and inductance. This is done at the Lundahl factory.)
There are further 2 versions depending on what C-core material you require.
