D-Type Nuts

D-type threaded insert nuts are an alternative to Tee nuts for fitting drive units into speaker cabinets. They are self-screwing (using an Allan key) flanged fasteners designed to create strong, permanent metal threads in wood and wood-based materials. Featuring sharp external threads for secure anchorage and a flanged head to prevent over-driving or surface splitting, they are ideal for speaker assembly.
