In this video Nick upgrades some second hand speakers, brought to use at home with his computer. They didn't sound too bad to start with, but left a fair amount of bite and sparkle to the imagination; a quick service returning them to former glory and Nick can jam along happily whilst getting some work done from home!
A simple process that can ressurect old speakers found in the attic or brought for a bargain price online, swap-in upgrades of the same value doesnt drastically alter the sound of the speaker, yet offers a way to add clarity to cheap or older speakers - where costs may have been kept down by manufactures by using cheaper components that are easily upgraded or parts may have degraded over time.
