Upgrades: WAD 300B Parallel Single-Ended Monobloc Amplifier, First Impressions

Hello hifiers!

In this video we see Nicks first impression of some new/old amps that we're upgrading for a new project, here at HFC. These amps, kits that were designed by World Audio Design, use 300B power valves, a 6AU6 and a ECC82 for the preamp and a 5U4G as a rectifier valve. They look a bit battered and after an initial listening test the signal isn't what we would expect, but the casing is top quality and theres plenty of great components already in there so over the next few months, Nick's going to completely strip and rebuild these back to health!
