Dalby Audio Design DAL 620S-C Pure Silver/Copper Multistrand Cable

After releasing the original DAL 620S a number of years ago, Lee Dalby has come up with DAL 620S-C, an improved version of this already excellent cable.
The large gauge version is intended for loudspeaker cable use. This cable contains 20 x 0.6mm pure silver over soft annealed oxygen-free copper conductors, with internal cotton thread suspension. The outer is double-silked and wrapped for insulation; silk has excellent dielectric properties, enhancing the performance dramatically. Also holding the 20 conductors in a spiral formation. It is now also being protected with a clear PVC jacket.
To be clear, this is not a silver-plated cable, which is why this cable is so interesting. Effectively, when the wire is drawn, the pure silver creates an outer sheathing over the soft annealed pure copper. So in effect, the silver covering is thicker than a silver plate. The fusion of the silver to the copper hasn't been subjected to the conditions required for plating, which can only be a positive thing. As well as, including Dalby Audio's special golden ratio cryogenic treatment.
This premium-grade, hybrid pure silver/copper multistrand cable gives a smooth yet effortless sound while retaining the speed, detail, and dynamics of pure silver. The character of both cables can be described as musical. Scale, tone, and detail are all in abundance.
