Furutech FP-314Ag II Alpha μ-OFC Copper, Silver-plated Mains Cable
The Furutech FP-314Ag II is a high-performance shielded mains power cable designed for constructing premium AC power leads. Featuring silver-plated α-OFC conductors, the FP-314Ag II delivers excellent conductivity and stable current delivery while helping reduce noise entering sensitive audio equipment.
Each of the three conductors (Live, Neutral and Earth) is made from high-purity Oxygen-Free Copper, silver-plated to enhance conductivity and improve high-frequency current transfer. Furutech’s Alpha (α) process — a proprietary treatment combining deep cryogenic freezing and demagnetisation — is applied to the conductors to relieve internal stresses within the metal and optimise signal and power transmission.
The cable also incorporates a dense braided copper shield, providing effective suppression of EMI and RFI noise.
