Now stocking Staccato Open Sound Hybrid op-amps
We’re now stocking Staccato’s Open Sound Hybrid discrete op-amps for audio equipment such as DACs and preamplifiers. Their design uses JFETs in both the input and output stages, a high bias current, and a source-follower output stage with an active current source. Staccato says this gives them low open-loop distortion, predominantly second harmonic.
There’s a single op-amp and three dual versions. The dual modules offer different shapes to suit the space around a socket: one has a smaller footprint, another offers improved heat dissipation, and the vertical version provides a further fitting option.
We’ve also added six Staccato-branded adaptors for different socket arrangements. Check the individual listing before ordering: four of the adaptors are for conventional IC op-amps and cannot be used with Staccato modules.
