Upgrading the Elekit TU-8200R Amplifier Kit part 2

The Elekit TU-8200R at around £650 is a great price for a valve amplifier kit. After our series of "how to build" videos, we wanted to tackle the upgrade. Here we take the completed built kit and take it apart to put better resistors and capacitors in it. We went for some key positioned components. The anode resistors of the 1st and 2nd half of the double triode 12AU7 were swapped to 2W Amtrans and 1W Audio Note Tantalums, respectively. All cathode resistors of that valve were changed to 0.5W Takman Carbon film resistors and the cathode capacitors swapped to Audio Note Kaisei polar capacitors. The 0.1uF decoupled capacitors were changed to Jensen Copper foil (1st stage) and Mundorf ZN capacitors (2nd stage). Finally, the cathode capacitor of the output stage was changed to Audio Note Kaisei capacitors. So you can see some prime parts have gone in this upgrade.
